The Mills house, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA
This house was moved to it's present location on an original 18th century Spanish land grant. It had been occupied by family members of the current owner since the 18th century. The owner, who thought she was creating an art studio for herself, got caught up in the building's physical history after demolition revealed an interesting timber frame building hidden underneath later additions.
