PLANTER'S CABIN BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA |
|||||||||||||||||
| This building was part of the Kleinpeter family clan settlement along Highland road in Baton Rouge, LA. Although there is no actual date of construction, the building was on a Spanish land grant given in 1794. In many ways, it is the "proto-typical' type of house for the late 18th and early 19th century in south Louisiana. The house was still standing until it burned in the 1990's. | |||||||||||||||||
