TOWN OF ADDIS MUSEUM
ADDIS, LA
The Town of Addis, Louisiana wanted a museum to reflect their local history. At one time, this area was called the Baton Rouge Junction. It was the transfer location for people going west on the train. The trains were loaded on a barge and brought across the Mississippi river. This building, ca. 1925 was built as a bank. It later became the Hebert Store.
